Our satellite-powered measurements achieve approximately 95% accuracy compared to manual measurements. This is sufficient for material ordering and competitive bidding. For insurance restoration work requiring Xactimate-level precision, we recommend verifying critical dimensions on-site.
Do you offer ESX/Xactimate files?
ESX export is on our roadmap and coming soon. Currently, reports are delivered as PDF with all measurements broken out so you can manually enter them into Xactimate or any estimating software.
What measurements are included?
Every report includes total roof area, per-facet area with pitch and azimuth, ridge/hip/valley/eave/rake lengths, material takeoff (squares, bundles, ridge cap, starter, underlayment), waste factor calculations, and a labeled overhead diagram.
Can I use these for insurance claims?
RoofTap reports are excellent for initial scoping and material estimation. For insurance supplement work, carriers typically require EagleView or Xactimate-based reports. Our ESX export (coming soon) will bridge this gap.
